Radix point

A radix point is used in numerical representations to separate the integer part of a number from the fractional part.

 


General

In most countries the separator is written as a point (.) or as a comma (,).

 


Decimal seperator

In the decimal system the radix point is called the decimal seperator. On calculators the  ·  key is generally used.
