Pascal's triangle

You can easily develop Pascal's triangle, by writing successive powers of the number 11.

Is that pure coincidence?

 


Explanation

You can calculate the powers as 110 = 1,  111 = 11,  112 = 121,  113 = 1331, 114 = 14641. But this does not continue for ever. So it is only fun to see.

That is a multiplication by 11 because 11 × 121 = 1331. If you insert spaces between the digits Pascal's triangle emerges. The decimal system is really surprising.
