Greek numerals

The ancient Greeks used their alphabet to describe Greek numerals. It started with

Zero

The 0 sometimes occurs as o macron (ō). There's been discussion for centuries whether or not 0 is a number. Today we call it a number, and for writing decimal numbers we just need it.

 


Large numbers

The Greeks had no decimal system. Therefore there were also letters for
