Normal number

A normal number is a real number with infinitely many decimals such that each number sequence occurs approximately as often as all other number sequences of the same length.

 


Explanation

Almost all numbers are normal. It has been proven for the Copeland-Erdös constant

0. 2 3 5 7 11 13 17 19 23 29 31 37...

and for the Champernowne constant

0. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 ...

It is suspected that 2, π and e are normal.
